About the event
Who is this training for: People from denominations or organisations that have a heart for planting churches and are willing to be a part of a regional assessment team of people from different denominations who are assessing church planters prior to their start of planting a new church.
Preparation:
When you register you will be sent a link for a preparatory zoom meeting on Tuesday 20th August. In this meeting you will receive a digital copy of the Assessment Manual allowing you to prepare for the training. 5-6 hours of preparation is required before the training, including video content. This will be explained in the zoom meeting.
Content: Assessment provides insight to the Calling, Character, Chemistry and Competence of the church planting candidate. You will be a part of an assessment interview.
In the training, we will go through the background of assessment, learn what a behavioral interview is, look at the three stages of an interview, as well as the reviewing, reporting, and reflection on what makes a good assessor. There will also be time for questions and answers.
Expectation: When doing the assessment training you will be part of an assessment team in your region who, from September 2024 to February 2025 will do the assessment of the church planters who will take part in the M4 Team Process from February 2024. You can also go on to be a part of a working team, developing assessments in your area.
